Fluorine Rubber Sheets is one kind of synthetic rubber of whose molecular contains fluorine atom, also called fluoroelastomer or FKM for short. Fluorine rubber has high temperature resistance, oil resistance, resistance to chemical corrosion, which is a special rubber. There are many varieties, it is commonly represented by the number of fluorine atom of copolymer containing fluorine units, such as: fluorine rubber 23 is the copolymer of vinylidene fluoride and trifluorochlor oethylene; fluorine rubber 246 is the copolymer of vinylidene fluoride, tetrafluoroethylene and hexafluoropropylene, and so on.

Fluorine rubber 26 is a white, odorless, non-toxic, not flammable solid, with outstanding characteristic of high temperature resistant, chemical resistant, oil resistant and antioxidant. Fluorine rubber sheet can be used under temperature 250 ℃ in a long time and 300 ℃ for a short-term use. The tensile strength of vulcanizates is 7.0 ~ 17.5 MPa, elongation at 150% ~ 300%, weather resistance, ozone resistance, electric insulation performance is excellent, and permeability is lower than other rubber. Fluorine rubber sheet 23 has strong resistance to oxidizing, which is very outstanding.

Respectively, the highest temperature for main fluorine rubber in long-term use is: fluorine ether rubber for 288 ℃, fluorine rubber 246 for 270 ℃, fluorine silicone rubber for 232 ℃, fluorine rubber 23 and tetrafluoroethylene-propylene rubber for 200 ℃, phosphonic nitrile fluorine rubber for 177 ℃, nitroso fluorine rubber for 170 ℃.

The main drawbacks of fluorine rubber sheets is that its low temperature resistant performance is poor, density is relatively big, with higher price.
